The PFA is great for parents and for the school
"As a new parent l found that helping the PFA was an ideal way to get to know
other parents, finding out about the school and most of all it is really fun,
everyone is so friendly."
(Sue, Ladybird mum).

Did you know that the iPads that our children use in class were provided by the school from money raised by the PFA?
Did you know that the PFA subsidises school trips making it more affordable for you?
The PFA achieves so much for Bodsham School and we're always looking out for more people to (wo)man stalls, help organise our many fundraising events, make and bake and much more.
Cooking, crafting and gardening
If you love cooking or crafting you will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in making things to sell (cakes, flans, sweets, preserves and a myriad of craft delights) or to decorate our stalls (eg bunting, table cloths, flower arrangements).
Gardeners are not left out either as we regularly have produce and plant stalls at our events.
But what if I don't have these skills/ am too shy to talk to customers/ too busy?
No problem, we also need back of house people who can wash up, help put up gazebos, even drive us around in a van from time to time collecting things, sometimes we just need storage in between events.
There are sitting down jobs and running around jobs, sitting at home jobs and attending event jobs, half hour jobs or all day jobs, all you need is a willingness to help our children and our school.
Please email us for more information, speak to your class rep or speak to Bruce Templeton or Sue Davis in the playground at drop-off or pick-up.
We are also on Facebook.
